Joyfully Green
I don’t know about you, but when I drive, apart from keeping my eye on the road I am also constantly looking at the landscape here in Cyprus.
Now that it has rained and the landscape is becoming green it is a contrast from the arid summer months which we are used to. There is such a change of scenery which makes me smile when I know that the trees are looking fresher and it feels like they are breathing better.
I lived in England for the first 19 years of my life and didn’t appreciate the green that was natural to the climate and environment until I came to Cyprus and realised that I took it all for granted.
We are now experiencing a transformation of a dry and lifeless place into a lush green landscape.
There is a great diversity of wild species of plants immerging from the ground, it is great to watch.

I love the feeling of venturing out into the fields, walking through the vegetation, I become the jolly green giant with a smile on my face. Always contemplating where else I should wonder too next to take some shots of the landscape.
Take a trip and do something different this weekend and investigate the landscape.
